Housing Loan Interest

I would like to highlight the suggestion proposed by YAB "RASAH" in parliament to viewers, where by he suggested that housing interest to be fixed or caped at 4%, like car interest.

Indeed is a very good idea and it will be welcomed by all "rakyat"

"Priviledge Infomation"

It's seem to be the lawyers and some doctors are abusing client/patients chapter even their client/patient life in "danger",they think they are proud to have this kind of information. But they are abusing rule of laws,"they are really stupid".Withholding information's can make investigations stuck....left hanging.

Time have come for lawmakers to amend the law so any information's that were withhold by witness and not disclosed during trial, can be charged in court of laws and any information's come up after the trial will not be admitted.

Nazri: Guards Have No Rights

I am surprise by the comment by Datuk Seri Md Nazri regarding the dress code, first of all our Parliament is not a disco to allow just any body to enter. It's a pride of our nation, that we have parliament, in some country they don't have it at all.

"As long as one does not wear her undergarments outside,
that's fine.Just don't come in your underwear"

Might one day some journalist will show up in her pyjamas, nighties or sleeping dress.

"sometimes even MPs wear skirts above knee length"

Who is in charge of dress code in parliament, i think he is, definitely he fail to implement.

"But if they(security guards) cannot control MPs, then
don't practise double standards"

He is looking for some cheap publicity's hitting at guards. He should set the record straight, not the other way around.

Bank : Easy Money

Banks make a lot out of our hard earned Money.

Bank charges RM 0.50 for cash deposit via counter, even the branch do not have Cash Deposit Machine. I witness one such incidence sometimes ago at Mantin “Yellow Bank”, the counter staff and customer arguing about the charges until the customer give in and went on saying “this is worst than day light robbery”. Bank should not charge if the branch do not have cash deposit machine.

Recently I make withdrawal via MEPS ATM terminal and the slip did not state the account balance . But bank are charging us RM 1.00 for every transactions made via MEPS. I think our RM 1.00 “NOT WORTH IT” for the banks, but it worth for us, you know why, because an average 1 million transaction via MEPS daily, so the bank receive RM 1 million per day, RM 365 million per year. Is this amount not enough to set up the system to indicate the balance amount?

Advice to banks customer to use their ATM card on their respective bank ATM machines every 1st day of the month, because the MEPS system won’t work on that day.

Desprate Anwar : Plot it

DON'T PUMP PETROL / DIESEL / GAS ON AUGUST 18, 2008 WE MAKE IT A GLOBAL EFFORTS

Anwar has challenge the authorities to take him to court, but government must make sure the trial must be fair and judges are credible. And he went on saying :-

" I will throw the file at their faces if the judges are not fit to hear my case"
The Sunday Star, July 6, 2008

They appoint SB to work for PKR without checking his background , or they maybe have done it.That's why they dare to say the govt will fall before Sept 16,2008 , cause they have "ORANG DALAM". Why i am saying this, is because they have the "link photos" barely 18hrs after the reports.

He were accused by SB and report were made against him for "sodomy".

Then he went to Embassy for "protection" and lying about it. He say, he will face the charges and COUNTER sue SB.

Went on saying his life in danger from unknown people, ask for guarantee from the gov , let's say , if he got involve in a car accident it will be a act of conspiracy to trow him out of politics !

Then file reports against IGP and AG for "conspiracy" during 1998 sodomy charges, specifically indicating the "black eye" incidents. This will make the IGP and AG not a credible to charge him or investigate him.The PM will advice to suspend both of them temporally and start investigation, or he may advice to appoint new IGP and AG ?

Previously few top Judges are under scrutiny due to Lingam Video, which release by Anwar part by part.Where he held the Royal Commission run by his terms, even the video release has been edited. The Royal Commission just based their decision on this edited version, by right it should be full and unconditional release by Anwar, then only we can say he is truly seeking justice's.

Once again, he were seen together with PI Bala with SD, in it is the most damaging claim against DPM.Later bare 24 hr after the 1st SD ,2nd SD were filed by the PI and retract back the words against DPM and went missing after the press conference.

Police reports were filed against the PI by PKR youth nation wide.I think, they still believe in the system. Otherwise they wont file reports nation wide, right.

It seem to me that, people still have trust in police even their leader don't.

He could have planned the whole thing by him self, who knows!

SD by PI

25.1 He had been introduced to Aminah by Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at a diamond exhibition in Singapore.

25.2 Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak informed Abdul Razak Baginda that he had a sexual relationship with Aminah and that she was susceptible to anal intercourse.

25.3 Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak wanted Abdul Razak Baginda to look after Aminah as he did not want her to harass him since he was now the Deputy Prime Minister.

Najib : Diversion Part 2

Source : Malaysiakini

Gods know what else might be pop ping up...........

Why Now .......?

Why only now the PI say something’s that will jeopardise court case. If he knows it from the beginning, he should mention it, in court during the trial, so the judge can make a decision on that. But he remains quiet until Anwar approach him. Maybe Anwar have planned to break now because the PM in waiting is more vulnerable now. What prompt the PI to break the silence now?

I CAN SEE THE "MAT SALLEH” PRESENT DURING THE PRESS CONFERENCE LAUGHING.HE SEEMS TO BE VERY HAPPY WITH THE CURRENT SITUATION IN MALAYSIA.

Anwar Submit report to His Financer

Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar today branded PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim as an United States ‘snitch’.

'Every time something happens, he reports to the US,' says the home minister in response to a caution issued by Washington over the latest controversy involving the opposition stalwart.

If he want to be the Malaysia PM, he should be able to make his own judgement and decisions, not asking foreign party's and go hiding in foreign embassy. If he make it to be the PM would he terminate all the Police ,Army,Judge,Civil Officers and god knows who else....only because he lost confidence. I wonder how, he still able to travel all over world and Malaysia all this time and can arrange meeting with Yong Teck Lee in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.

Anwar :I didn't say I never went

Anwar say "he did go to the posh condominium unit " . I wonder how he is going to explain the alibi against the accusations .Wait and see .............

From Gerak 2 UMNO

This is just a tips of iceberg, many more to come.... Ezam make police report regarding donations for PKR Selangor 100 day celebrations......

Cut the Crap...dude..

All the positives talk.I wonder how he is going to pay RM 6000.00 FOR every citizen when he became the PM.

He needs alot of money, a whopping RM 180,000,000,000.00 I think he is going to dig a oil well behind his house.

iPhone 3G

The new iPhone 3G will go on sale at 8 a.m. next Friday, 11 July 2008 at AT&T retail stores and Apple stores. So if you're planning on lining up, you'd better be ready well before sunrise.
BUT WITH SOME MISSES
The camera - Forbes notes that there's still no flash and no video recording on the device. We're going to see 8 megapixel cell phone cameras in the U.S. this year, and the iPhone is still stuck with a puny 2MP model? Many early rumors also had expected the iPhone 3G to include a forward-facing camera for videoconferencing use.
The battery - Not replaceable. Again. On the other hand, this shouldn't be a surprise considering that Apple is now actually making laptops without replaceable batteries, too.

No MMS - Again, the lack thereof. It just makes no sense. Apple is basically right that you don't need MMS to send pictures on a device that has a full email client, but the problem comes when users of other phones send you a photo via MMS: You simply can't view it on the iPhone. It's a ludicrous limitation on what should be the most advanced phone on the planet.
No live TV - That YouTube feature was fun last year, but now it's grown tiresome and old. Live TV is coming to all manner of handsets now as part of the standard data plan, but one gets the impression that Apple keeps it off the iPhone just so it can sell you TV episodes at $1.99 a pop instead.
No option - 8GB feels pathetically small in 2008. 16GB is really barely passable now. 32GB USB thumbdrives have been on the market since 2006, as cheaply as $140. I'm sure Apple will launch a 32GB model in the near future (another $100, please!), probably around Christmas, in the hopes that you'll buy a third phone.

" Desprate Anwar "

Is “Anwar” really guilty this time around? No body knows yet until CID Chief complete his investigations.

Meanwhile, why he is hiding at the “Turkey Embassy”. Something is wrong here!
I think Malaysia might did not have any extraditions agreement with Turkey yet, may be they will have later.Normally he goes to his “red carpet friends in the west, and fund contributor”.

He say’s, there is “death treat” on him, since “the government is so weak I think they just don’t have the time to do all the messy work”. Malaysian not likes those country that like to assassinate people for political gains. I wonder who give the idea!

Who knows he planned the whole thing! They can have the picture of the accuser so soon and the dateline to 16 September come close. They have prepared every thing and are saying will "release at appropriate time", what is this?

I wonder who is “Anwar” really was? Since his brother’s spill the beans at KDEB.

People are wondering, did they make the right choices when they vote in protest during the 13th General Elections.

The truth about Oil Money ?

WHAT IS NEVER MENTIONED IN Mainstream Media like NST/ The Star / Utusan /BH are these facts....Malaysian Per Capita Income USD 5000 VS Singaporean Per Capita Income USD 25000 .Further The Star made a comparison of prices in Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia .For Thailand it is quoted at RM3.90/liter, however are they aware that in Thailand new cars are cheaper than Malaysia by RM10,000?They pay only one life time for their driving license? No renewal fee after that? Also that goes for road tax as well? And do The Star also aware that you can drive all the way from Hadtyai to Bangkok on a six lane highway without paying any Tolls ??!!Whereas here in Malaysia you have to pay yearly renewal for road tax , driving license and TOLLS, TOLLS, TOLLS!!!

For Singapore how can you quote RM 5.20? Please quote in SingaporeDollars because they are earning in Sing Dollars. You might as well say Europeans are paying RM10/liter. RM5.20/liter = Sing $2.20/liter, still cheaper than Malaysia in view of fact that Singapore is not a crude oil exporter. Are you saying that you fill up petrol in Singapore by paying Ringgit?

In economy, dollar to dollar must be compared as apple to apple. Not comparing like durian in Malaysia is much cheaper than durian in Japan!! Of course-lah, Japan is not durian producer!!! Comparing Malaysian durian with Thailand durian make more sense!! For Indonesia we might say is cheaper there at RM2.07/liter but compare that to their level of income! Now, let us compare the price with OIL PRODUCING countries:

UAE RM1.19/litre Egypt RM1.03/litre
Bahrain RM0.87/litre Qatar RM0.68/litre
Kuwait RM0.67/litre Saudi Arabia RM0.38/litre
Iran RM0.35/litre Nigeria RM0.32/litre
Turkmenistan RM0.25/litre Venezuela RM0.16/litre

MALAYSIA RM2.70/litre

> RM 2.70!!! Individual perspective:

As of last month a Toyota Vios would 'cause a damage' of about RM 89,000. In the international market, a Toyota Vios is about USD 19,000 , USD 19,000 = RM 62,700 (using the indicative rates of USD 1 = RM 3.30) That makes Malaysian Vios owners pay an extra RM26,300. This RM 26,300 should be cost of operations, profit and tax because the transportation costs have been factored in to the USD 19,000. RM 26,300/ RM625 petrol rebate per year translates to a Vios being used for 42.08 years. I do understand that the RM 625 is a rebate given by the government, but it also means that one has to use the Vios for 42.08 years just to make back the amount paid in taxes for the usage of a foreign car. Would anyone use any kind of car for that long?

Now with these numbers in front of us, does the subsidy sound like a subsidy or does it sound like a penalty? This just seems to be a heavy increment in our daily cost of living as we are not only charged with high car taxes but also with a drastic increase in fuel price. With all the numbers listed out, I urge all Malaysians to join me in analyzing the situation further.

Car taxation is government profit, fuel sales is Petronas (GLC) profit which also translates into government profit. The government may ridicule us Malaysians by saying look at the world market and fuel price world wide. Please, we are Malaysians, we fought of the British, had a international port in the early centuries (Malacca), home to aracially mixed nation and WE ARE NOT STUPID!!! We know the international rates are above the USD 130/barrel. We understand the fact that the fuel prices are increasing worldwide and we also knowthat major scientist are still contradicting on why this phenomenon ishappening. Some blame Bush and his plunders around the world and some blame climate change and there are others which say petroleum 'wells' are getting scarce. Again we go back to numbers to be more straight fwd

1 barrel = 159 liters x RM2.70/liter = RM 429 or USD 134 On 1 hand, we are paying the full cost of 1 barrel of crude oil with RM2.70 per liter but on the other hand the crude oil only produces 46% of fuel. Malaysia sells crude oil per barrel at USD130 buys back Fuel per barrel at USD134. And not forgetting, every barrel of fuel is produced with 2 barrels of crude oil. 1 barrel crude oil = produce 46% fuel (or half of crude oil), therefore 2 barrel crude oil = approximately 1 barrel fuel In other words, each time we sell 2 barrels of crude oil, equivalently we will buy back 1 barrel of fuel. Financially, Malaysia sell 2 barrel crude oil @ USD 130/barrel = USD 260 = RM 858 then, Malaysia will buy back fuel @ USD 134/barrel = RM 442/barrel Thus, Malaysia earn net extra USD 126 = RM 416 for each 2 barrel of crudesold/exported vs imported 1 barrel of fuel !!!(USD 260-134 = USD 126 = RM416) So where this extra USD 126/barrel income is channeled to by Malaysian Government?????????

Another analysis: 1 barrel crude oil = 159 liters. 46-47% of a barrel of crude oil = fuel that we use in our vehicles.46% of 159 = 73.14 liters. @ RM 2.70/liter x 73.14 liter = RM197.48 of fuel per barrel of crude oil. This is only 46% of the barrel, mind you. Using RM 3.30 = USD 1, we get that a barrel of crude oil produces USD 59.84 worth of petrol fuel (46% of 1barrel). USD 59.84 of USD 130/barrel turns out to be 46% of a barrel as well. Another 54% = bitumen, kerosene, and natural gases and so many more. And this makes a balance of USD 70.16 that has notbeen accounted for. So this is where I got curious. Where is the subsidyif we are paying 46% of the price of a barrel of crude oil when the production of petrol/barrel of crude oil is still only 46%? In actual fact, we still pay for this as they are charged in the forms of fuel surcharge by airlines and road taxes for the building of road (because they use the tar/bitumen) and many more excuse charging us but let us just leave all that out of our calculations.

As far as I know, only the politicians who live in Putrajaya and come for their Parliament meetings in Kuala Lumpur (approximately 60+ km) are the ones to gain as they claim their fuel and toll charges from the money of the RAKYAT's TAX. It is so disappointing to see this happen time and time again to the Malaysian public, where they are deceived by the propaganda held by the politicians and the controls they have over the press. Which stupid idiot economist equates rebates for rich or poor with the cc of the vehicles? An average office clerk may own a second hand 1300cc proton Iswara costing $7,000 (rebate = $625) while the Datuk's children can own a fleet of 10 new cars of BMW, Audi and Volvo all less than 2000cc costing $2 millions and get a total rebate of $625 x 10 = $6,250! Wow what kind of economists we are keeping in Malaysia...wonder which PHD certificate that they bought from...

Misleading concept of Subsidy: The word 'subsidy' has been brandished by the BN government as if it has so generously helped the rakyat and in doing so incurred losses. This simple example will help to explain the fallacy:

Example: Ahmad is a fisherman. He sells a fish to you at $10 which is below the market value of $15. Let's assume that he caught the fish from the abundance of the sea at little or no cost. Ahmad claims that since the market value of the fish is $15 and he sold you the fish for $10, he hadsubsidized you $5 and therefore made a loss of $5.

Question: Did Ahmad actually make a profit of $10 or loss of $5 which he claimed is the subsidy?

Answer: Ahmad makes a profit of $10 which is the difference of the selling price ($10) minus the cost price ($0 since the fish was caught from theabundance of the sea). There is no subsidy as claimed by Ahmad.

The government claims that it is a subsidy because the oil is kept and treated as somebody else's property (you know who). By right, the oil belongs to all citizens of the country and the government is a trustee for the citizens.

So as in the above simple example, the government cannot claim that it has subsidized the citizen!

Quota

" A “thorn” in their flesh is the bumiputra quota in which Rehda wants the release procedures to be standardised to reflect a more transparent and structured release mechanism.

“Bumiputra quota should not exceed 30%, based on sales regardless of the units being sold to bumiputras were the identified lots or not. Bumiputra discount should be capped at 5% and only applicable for houses priced at RM250,000 and below, excluding low-cost and low-medium cost houses,” said Ng.

Ng said it was unfair for someone who could afford a multi-million ringgit property to enjoy a bumiputra discount that differed from state to state (7% discount for Selangor, 15% for Johor and 10% for other states).

The Government should also review the price of low-cost housing from the current RM42,000 to RM60,000 to mitigate increased costs.Rehda vice-president Datuk FD Iskandar said it was inevitable that house prices would go up soon as construction costs had shot up by 30%. "

I like to add, the Goverment should only give discount to low cost unit so low income earner can benifits from it, not the rich.

They shoot traders, don’t they?

" The world cannot stand by and watch crude oil prices continue to skyrocket for no apparent reason. It is time for radical action.WHILE in Istanbul last week, a group of journalists got to talk to some share analysts, and the topic of conversation was the uncontrolled rise in the price of oil.One of the analysts grinned and said: “Line up all the options traders in the world and shoot them.”

The journalists, from various publications worldwide, who were there to cover the International Air Transporters Association’s annual general meeting, looked stunned for a moment, but were quick to smile when it dawned on them what was being said.

The same analyst opined that it was option trading that was driving up prices, drawing parallels to the attack on the Thai baht in 1997. That time it was hedge funds driving down Asian currencies. The hedge funds had since abandoned currencies because central banks the world over had wisened up to their scheme and made it difficult for the hedging of currencies to be turned into a day at the casino.

These traders have redirected their focus in the past few years to commodities, with oil being their main target.Malaysia Airlines managing director Datuk Seri Idris Jala told the same group of journalists that he no longer trusted what research houses had to say on oil prices.“After all, these companies are also the same ones with options traders who are responsible for driving up crude oil prices,” he said.

One such example is when crude oil futures made their biggest single-day jump last week, soaring nearly US$11 to US$138.54 a barrel, a rise of more than 8%.As reported by Associated Press on Monday: “Friday's jump came after Morgan Stanley analyst Ole Slorer predicted that strong demand in Asia and tight supplies in the Western Hemisphere could drive prices to a once-unthinkable US$150 a barrel by early July. In after-hours trading Friday, oil prices briefly touched US$139.12, an all-time high.”

What Slorer is saying does not make sense at all. How can Asian demand continue to be strong when every country in Asia has raised fuel prices, and Asians are talking about cutting back on usage of oil?China is generally expected to cut back its development programmer once the Olympics start in August. All its feverish development was centred on the Games, and the Chinese government has made it known that all these will slow down soon.Even in India, another country option trader see increased demand for oil, the middle class is feeling the pinch of rising oil prices.

Logic demands that when people feel the heat, they will pull back. Why then the accepted logic of oil traders that the people of India will want more, and bigger, cars? With a global recession expected, there should be less economic activity all over the world. Again, with less economic activity, shouldn’t it mean less money in the pocket, more lay-offs, and less creation of wealth? This should also reduce the future demand for oil, right? Apparently not so, according to oil traders.

To them a strike on a Shell refinery in some obscure platform in the North Sea is more significant than a world recession, as it MAY affect future supply.
Speaking of oil prices, the 78-sen increase per litre for petrol, and RM1 for diesel, locally will definitely have an impact on our own economy. The Government had repeatedly warned that the subsidies were unsustainable and had to be removed.

The Government should be commended for trying to mitigate the effects of the 41% increase in fuel prices, especially for the lower income group.Food prices are already going up and the poor will need all the help they can get.Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced last week that the social safety net would be widened to cover more people, and even hinted that the Government might expand the definition of poor in doing this.

However, it is unfortunate that the group most affected by the fuel and power increase is the middle class – the salaried workers, who are mostly from the private sector.
They make up the majority of the one million taxpayers out of the country’s workforce of 10.3 million – and collectively paid more than RM10bil in taxes last year.
In Malaysia, those earning less than RM3,000 per month are not taxable and thus the bulk of the Government’s income is from a narrow band of people.

Those in the top bracket – such as CEOs and heads of public listed companies – will not be bothered by the fuel price increase. The Government, in its effort to cushion the impact on the people, should not forget the salaried executives, who are not poor enough to receive aid nor rich enough to dismiss the price increases.

The middle class are the mainstay of the domestic economy, the biggest spenders. Their contributions should not be overlooked or underestimated.I am sure the Government is now looking at something to appease this group as well. I hope middle class Malaysians will not be left holding the wrong end of the stick just because options traders screw up the whole world in making a fast buck.
What we need now are lots of rifles to either shoot these traders or to force them to actually take delivery of the millions of barrels of oil they “buy” on paper.

Why not? "

The One and Only Dr Mahathir Mohamad

Dr Mahathir Mohamad: Snippets

Umum ketahui bahawa TDM berfikir panjang sebelum membuat sebarang keputusan.

Today Hot Picks

1.0 The Government says, there will be 4 new measures announcement on Monday 9 June 9, 2008 so far only 1, i can recall …….

1.0 To reduce Minister Allowance by 10 %, which is obviously not enough, it should be 40 % then they will know hardship suffered by the “rakyat”.

1.1 I suggest duty on cars and motorcycle to be reduce by 50% or just taken out entirely for cars under 1600cc, this will encourage domestic demand for them and create spillover on to other business and services. In return, tax income will increase for the government.

1.2 Abolish the fuel subsidies all together, government staff loan which is fixed at 4 % or lower and any other subsidies…

2.0 No Rebate or subsidies given to car owner of more then 1600 cc and above, most of them are very well off.

3.0 Donate the Rapid KL bus to the schools, so they can provide the transportation to school children.

4.0 On Justice Ian Chin, allegations, it’s to late , you should come forward when it happen, it’s like your are agreeing to it then , even you are not satisfied.

5.0 Civil servant should not be allowed to do part-time jobs and business this will jeopardize their routine work and create conflict of interest. They are well of with government housing loan at 4 % and so many allowance which come to 100-150 % of their basic salary. “No wonder so many people want work in the Civil Services”.

6.0 I suggest the EPF money be used to “pay off” the members 1st house and other contributions to the account can’t be taken out for buying house. This they are able to manage their finance better in this difficult time as the housing loan is major commitments.

7.0 ACA should report to the Parliament.

8.0 The time, have come for Malaysia to limit the term of Prime Minister to 2 term, maximum 10 yrs. If nothing significant can be done in this time frame no point for staying longer then that.
