Today Hot Picks

1.0 The Government says, there will be 4 new measures announcement on Monday 9 June 9, 2008 so far only 1, i can recall …….

1.0 To reduce Minister Allowance by 10 %, which is obviously not enough, it should be 40 % then they will know hardship suffered by the “rakyat”.

1.1 I suggest duty on cars and motorcycle to be reduce by 50% or just taken out entirely for cars under 1600cc, this will encourage domestic demand for them and create spillover on to other business and services. In return, tax income will increase for the government.

1.2 Abolish the fuel subsidies all together, government staff loan which is fixed at 4 % or lower and any other subsidies…

2.0 No Rebate or subsidies given to car owner of more then 1600 cc and above, most of them are very well off.

3.0 Donate the Rapid KL bus to the schools, so they can provide the transportation to school children.

4.0 On Justice Ian Chin, allegations, it’s to late , you should come forward when it happen, it’s like your are agreeing to it then , even you are not satisfied.

5.0 Civil servant should not be allowed to do part-time jobs and business this will jeopardize their routine work and create conflict of interest. They are well of with government housing loan at 4 % and so many allowance which come to 100-150 % of their basic salary. “No wonder so many people want work in the Civil Services”.

6.0 I suggest the EPF money be used to “pay off” the members 1st house and other contributions to the account can’t be taken out for buying house. This they are able to manage their finance better in this difficult time as the housing loan is major commitments.

7.0 ACA should report to the Parliament.

8.0 The time, have come for Malaysia to limit the term of Prime Minister to 2 term, maximum 10 yrs. If nothing significant can be done in this time frame no point for staying longer then that.

Letting the time pass me by said...

Hopefully people can still survive and have something to eat and to cherish in life...

I am wondering what happen to the government? Cutting subsidy, price increase? Are we run put of money? Is the country is desperate for money? Anymore money left in the Bank Negara?

Recession may be inevitable, but the government need to make sure that the impact can be soften for those with less money.... Not following the capitalism idea ... the poor is getting poorer and the rich is getting richer...
